Jordy Tempelman (1989), is a Director and Photographer residing in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
With a dreamy and raw visual style, Jordy crafts cinematic narratives for commercial clients that want to connect with a young and diverse audience. His broad experience in all aspects of filmmaking and keen visual eye gives him the tools to cater to these needs.
Jordy started out at a young age experimenting with photography and developed a visual style that resonates trough in his filmic work.
He graduated Cum Laude as Director from the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) in 2015, and this launched his career into commercials and short films.
Since then he worked for clients such as; Nike, Samsung, ESPN, Tommy Hilfiger, Balmain, Vogue, the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) and many more.
In 2022, he finished his short film 'Nocturne', a story about the inner search for happiness. Which won several prizes on renowned festivals around the world; The 1.4 awards London, Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Paris International Film Festival, Toronto Indie Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival and Tokyo International Film Festival.
